Season Length: 8–10 Weeks | March–Mid-May
The Boys High School Volleyball Season is designed to provide student-athletes with an opportunity to learn, compete, and grow their volleyball skills in a structured high school environment. The season combines consistent practices with opportunities to compete against other schools, building toward an end-of-season state championship experience.
Two Practices Per Week
Teams will practice twice each week, focusing on fundamental skills, team systems, game strategy, communication, and competitive development.
Round Robin Competition Weekends
Teams will participate in two round robin competition weekends throughout the season. These events will provide athletes with the opportunity to compete against other high school programs, gain match experience, and put their practice skills into action.
Growing Into a League Format
As participation and the number of participating schools continue to grow, the goal is to transition toward a more traditional high school league format, allowing teams to compete in regular-season matches throughout the season.
WA State High School Boys Championship
The season will conclude with the WA State High School Boys Volleyball Championship, giving teams the opportunity to compete for a state title and celebrate the growth of boys volleyball across Washington.
